Figure embeds

Eraser's note editor is unique because it can embed figures created on the canvas.

Creating a new embed

First, create a figure on the canvas using the figure tool.

Then copy-paste the figure from the canvas to the note editor.

Expand and collapse figure embeds

Figure embeds can be either expanded or collapsed. When expanded, they will show a live preview of the figure. When collapsed, they will look like regular links.

Clicking on the figure link

Clicking on the figure link will pan the canvas to the figure's location.

Changing the figure link text

Click on the figure icon to open the figure embed modal, then change the figure link text. It will default to the figure's original name on the canvas. After changing, you can reset it back to the original name.
